Notes from
Broadbeach.
Guides written by the people who work here: how the casino actually runs, where the kitchen buys fish, and how to spend 48 hours on this stretch of coast without wasting one.
What a night inside
the high-limit room feels like.
A floor manager spent three evenings writing this one. It covers the buy-in etiquette nobody tells you, why the room has no windows, and what happens in the first ten minutes after you sit down.
Read the storyPeople imagine smoke and tension. It is mostly very quiet. The loudest thing in the room is a card hitting felt.

Written by staff,
not a content farm.
Every piece comes from someone on the roster. Dealers write about the floor, chefs about the kitchen, the concierge about the suburb. No keyword stuffing, no listicles for their own sake.
A guest's-eye
check first.
Before we publish a room guide or dining piece, someone from the writing team stays the night or eats the menu. The photos come from the hotel, the timings come from our own logs.
Meet the teamRoom features get tested overnight, then written up.
Dining pieces get written after the meal, not before.
Every transfer time in our guides was driven or ridden.

Quick travel tips
Before 07:30 on weekdays and after 16:00 any day. The flagged zone in front of Kurrawa gets busy on weekends; walk two hundred metres south for space.
Beach towels, adapters, irons and hair dryers — all in the room or at the desk. Bring reef-safe sunscreen; the shops nearby sell it, but at tourist prices.
For Surfers Paradise and Pacific Fair, yes — it beats parking. Grab a go card at the station or tap a contactless card; the tram stop is 200 m from the lobby.
Two doors up on Surf Parade. Ask the concierge for the card — guests skip the queue on weekends.
