The 48-hour romance plan.
The concierge team builds this itinerary for proposal weekends and anniversaries. Hour by hour, here is the version we send to guests who ask.

Day one: arrival to golden hour
Check in at 15:00, ignore the luggage for ten minutes and stand on the balcony. At 17:00 take the lift to 21 — the rooftop is quietest right before the sunset crowd, and the pool edge is the best photo spot on the property.
Dinner at 20:00 at Terrace & Tide. Tell the desk it's an occasion — the corner tables get held, and the kitchen sends a course that isn't on the menu.
Ninety percent of a good proposal weekend is timing the sunset. The other ten percent is having the ring where you think it is.
After dinner, walk the beach. The flags come down but the sand stays open, and the lights of Surfers make the skyline do the work.
Day two: slow morning, fast afternoon
Sleep in — checkout is 11:00 but suite guests stretch to 14:00. Breakfast downstairs until 10:30, or order it to the room and eat on the balcony.
At 11:00, the spa: the couples' treatment books out, so reserve it with the room. Lunch at the raw bar on the deck, then the afternoon is yours — hinterland drive or beach, the desk has both routes printed.
Last drink at the sunset lounge before the drive home. It ends the weekend the same way it started — looking at the view.

Tell us the occasion
Corner tables, flowers, the course that isn't printed — all need notice.

Golden hour is literal here — thirty minutes, then it's gone.
Proposal specifics
About a dozen proposals happen here a year. The desk hides the ring box, books the photographer who poses as a tourist, and keeps champagne on ice — all standard procedure.
The west terrace at 18:30 is the classic spot. For something quieter, the hinterland lookout at dawn — the concierge will drive you.
